One of the leading 10 things to do on my listing is visit the Body Deli in Palm Desert. The store sounds amazing and comes very suggested by a Palm Springs' friend who advocates the items. It is also a preference of stars such as Alicia Silverstone, Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson. So it must be great.

Produced in 2002 by a couple of 'cosmetic chefs,' David Parker and Margaret Skarin, the Deli concentrates on face and body creams, lotions, elixirs and oils produced with natural active ingredients that are so fresh they are store in cooled bins set up in the store. There are also distinct deli-style cases to showcase the variety of offerings.

In addition to the retailer in Palm Desert, The Body Deli items are available on the company's site, www.thebodydeli.com, offering The Body Deli experience worldwide. The appeal of the items has cultivated a loyal customer base of well-known faces and neighborhood denizens.
